Morning: weights and 15 minutes. 

Afternoon: Since I couldn't race on Tuesday, I did a workout today. (60-65 minutes) It was a hard workout mainly because the people I normally run with did race so they didn't do the workout. The others that did the workout were very encouraging and did help me a lot. Overall, it was a good run today.

AM: At the beginning my legs felt super tired and heavy, but at the end coach Roberts and Pyper kept pushing me to stay up with them and I stopped thinking about them hurting so they did stop. I finished a lot stronger then I started and had a great time. 

PM: A 20 minute run recovery run.

AM: Weights and 15 minutes. pretty decent. 

PM: 45 minute run. Today I didn't feel the best, and it was mostly the fact that I couldn't get my head into it and I felt it holding me back. But I did complete my minutes with everyone.

PM: It was a hard workout, but it definitely wasn't my worst. Addi helped me a lot, and made it a little easier, but I am still wanting to get better at all the workouts and stay closer to my group.

AM: Weights and 15 minutes. 

PM: A pretty chill run and some awesome conversation with Alli.

AM: Today was one of my best long runs in a long time, it was shorter but I didn't fall off of the pack at all and I felt really good. At the beginning my legs felt kinda tired and sore but then we went up Foremaster and it felt really easy to get up it and then my legs didn't feel dead at all the whole rest of the run. It was literally the best and so fun!

PM: Just an easy 20 minute recovery run and we ran with our hair down which felt fantastic! The meeting today was also great and informational.

PM: Today was pretty crappy, I was looking forward to the short easy run but i just didn't feel good the whole time. I had a hard time staying up with the group and my body felt dead but I got the full minutes in so that was a possitive thing about the run I guess. All in all it just wasn't the best day but there were some great conversations the entire time.

AM: Weights and 15 minutes. Easy and we had tons of fun conversations about music and stuff. 

PM: Today was a ton better than yesterday! I didn't really struggle to stay with the group and it wasn't blazing hot outside. Plus the fact that I had more water today and the whole day was just entertaining and fun.

Had a super fun but not super fast run with Pyper today. We went up the HUGE hill to the water tower at Dhills with 80,000 pounds of wind in our faces but it was super adventurous and we had a great conversation with lots of laughs.

Another super adventerous run with Pyper, for the first ten minutes we ran on a longer trail that went up to the water tower and there wasn't as much wind as yesterday. We had some more awesome conversations and it was just super fun! Also watching the track meet yesterday and today was just a blast and everyone did so awesome!

AM: AWESOME long run this morning! I didn't really fall off of the group at all, and i honestly LOVE foremaster. My legs were feeling a little sore at the beginning but once we got up foremaster I stopped noticing and it was a great run. 

PM: We had a great meeting and a pretty decent short run afterwards.

AM: Weights and 15 minutes. Pretty good, but not too interesting.

PM: Went on a warm up with some girls then raced the 1600. I PRed by 9 seconds, and I finally listened to my dad and kicked at the end and got second. I think I prolly had a little bit too much energy at the end that I definitaly could have used throughout the race but I still got a PR so it's okay. Then I raced the 800, Im not sure what my time was but I definitaly don't think it was my best, and coach Holt said some wise words that I am hoping to make myself listen to in future races. Overall it was super fun and I had some decent races.

PM: pretty chill super short run towards green springs, then the youngster meet. It was pretty fun and interesting, but when we do runs like this it makes me realize that I really like longer runs with the group.

AM: Fantastic long run this morning. We went up towards Dixie Rock and I kinda started to fall off but coach Roberts yelled for some girls to get back with the pack so I did. I also loved the pick up workout that we had. Overall it was an awesome run and I had some great conversatioins. 

PM: Great meeting about positivity! After the meeting Pyper and I were trying really hard to make something positive about everything and it was super fun. Turns out I really like being positive and I realized that being negative even when I am just joking really does have an effect on how I feel and how I make others feel. Then we had a short fun run, and we did hair down Monday for a bit of it wich felt GREAT! Also had some more fun conversations this afternoon. And one last thing I really love Beast and Feast! It feels so good!

AM: weights and short run. I was a little late, but I had a good time.

PM: Great workout today! It was kinda hard to stay on pace but I did my best and definitely felt it. I love it when I can feel that it is making me stronger even though it is difficult at times. And now I am looking forward to pushing through the pain in every workout and race because even though I felt like I had a decent workout today, I can always push harder and do better.

PM: Today was not very good, I stayed with the group for the first little bit, but then a few of us fell way off. Roberts came to get us back with the pack and I tried to but it was blazing hot and my body just felt like stopping the entire time, and then at the end my striders just weren't very good. But a few positive things about my run is that I never stopped running even though it was deadly, and I started pushing back up to the pack for the last 15 ish minutes, which once I started going faster I did feel a little better, but it just wasn't the best run today.

AM: Weights and 15 minutes. Pretty fun, nothing to interesting.

PM: We helped out with the youngsters, it was pretty fun, we played some games like capture the flag and did relays and stuff.

AM: Today started out fantastic, my legs were a little sore, but I felt like I could just push through it and have a great run. Then the run kept going, and I kept falling off of the pack and then I would work my way back up to them then fall off again. It was kinda a struggle but at the end we were all together so that was good. 

PM: The meeting today was pretty good,  just a fun little discussion and talked about the week. After that we ran some loops around the stadium and school then got bored so we went out for a few minutes and finished up the run. It was just fun and chill with the team.

AM: Weights and 15 minutes. It felt awesome cause a few of us just sped it up a little bit and sometimes that is just super relaxing and nice. 

PM: We had a workout today! I felt really good today, there were a few times that I had to make myself push a little harder to stay with the group but it was awesome. I did have one pretty bad 100 because I was laughing cause it was a false start... but other than that it was awesome. And Roberts helped me with my form and I hope and can get better at the stuff he told me to do and it can become natural, then I can fix something else after. It was FREEZING and windy/rainy but that was also awesome and fun even though it kinda hurt.

Today was AWESOME! We went on a trail run near the hotel, and it was really fun and it was fantastic weather. On the way back I led a lot and it felt really good, and we got to the hotel to soon so we had to add on and Roberts told me a lot of wise stuff that I hope I can use in races and at practice.

AM: Workout on the track! I felt so good today, but the 100's always seem really hard for me and I'm not 100% sure why, but now I have something to focus on to get better. Coach Roberts kept reminding me of the stuff we talked about on the run in Herriman and that made me want to work even harder even though I think I was having a pretty awesome workout today in the first place. I know workouts can always be better and I can work on moving to the next level and push the "limits." 

PM: We went on a fun run and got just a little bit wet, it was awesome and pretty relaxing. I definitely love our team, they are so fun to talk to and run with. Its gonna be really sad when the seniors leave...

PM: Race day, I was the 800 medley. My first lap was about a 1:13 which if I kept that up would be a HUGE PR, but of course I didn't. :( My second lap was WAY slow and I got 1 second faster than my slowest time. But now I know I can run faster and so I hope in the future years I will and others will with me (@pyperholt). Overall it was a fun day to watch people perform and it was fun to race.

AM: 20 minutes and then yoga. Today was way fun and yoga felt SO good! Today I actually tried to do the stuff in yoga instead of just kinda going with the flow, and it was awesome. 

PM: Region! I ran with Ellie and Allison, and it was very fun. We just talked about how awkward our lives are and had some good laughs. Also I think I need to work on picking my feet up cause now instead of just falling on trail runs I just fall in the middle of the field for no apparent reason, but honestly I think it's fine.

I was going to start my 2 week break today, but then coach Holt was talking to us about a mile time trial thing so I ran. It was WAY hot and kinda hard, but it was fun cause we just played some thinking games. And now I am looking forward to the time trial thing and other stuff.

Awesome workout today. My group was just Pyper, Gracie, and me, but Roberts would sometimes jump in there and help us out. It felt really good to hit our paces or accidentally go a bit faster. We also had some good conversations and played some more "thinking" games.

AM: We did 25 to 30ish minutes. A 15 minute warm up, and then five of us ran a mile "race" and it was awesome! We had our other teamates and coaches as pacers which helped a lot. Coach Holt helped me personally a ton because I stayed up with Gracie for the most part and then the last lap was prolly my worst lap but I still got a PR. It was only a 2 second PR but at least I got one. 

PM: Sandburgs again. It was just Pyper, Gracie and I cause we went less minutes. It was kinda sad cause we realized that this morning was our last run with all of the seniors because we are starting our two week break. I really like our seniors and it is going to be sad when they leave, but it was an awesome cross country and track season with them. Anyway it was a fun chill run.

Today was the first day of my 2 week break but I just wanted to say that I already miss practice and the seniors and I can't wait for XC. Also, I hate the bus! And happy birthday to Pyper Holt! That's all.

I did a 20 minute run today. It felt really weird, my legs felt like really tight and they didn't want to bend. And breathing was really hard, but I'm looking forward to a wonderful XC season!

Sand Hill! That was one of the hardest runs of my life but it's always fun to run with the team and get stronger. I definitely think I could have pushed a little more throughout the whole run but it was still pretty great and now I know for next time.
